Ryan W. Jones, CPA, is a Director with Mauldin & Jenkins. He graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2009 with a B.B.A. in Business Management with a concentration in Accounting. Upon graduating, he joined a regional firm located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, his hometown. Ryan relocated to the Atlanta area in September of 2020, bringing with him eleven years of public accounting experience serving state and local governments, state agencies, not-for-profit organizations, and private enterprises. Part of what brought him across the country to Georgia was the opportunity to work exclusively in the government sector.

Ryan is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Georgia Society of CPAs. Prior to leaving New Mexico, he served as a finance committee member and treasurer of the Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity. Through his previous firm and the New Mexico Society of CPAs, he worked with students at the University of New Mexico to inform them about the public accounting profession through a mentorship program.

Ryan and his wife, Cassandra, live in Acworth with their two daughters, Ainsley and Rylee. They recently welcomed to their family Remington (Remy), a pointer pup who has proven more challenging than either of the two children.
