Craig Carter is a director with Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC. Craig is a business leader and advisor with 39 years of experience across public and private sector organizations. He began his career in the high-tech industry, where he spent 20 years in Corporate Finance and as a Chief Audit Executive, followed by 19 years as a Big Four partner and independent consultant. 

Craig is known for his ability to build high-performing teams and implement transformative solutions that deliver sustainable impact. His expertise lies in internal audit, enterprise risk management, finance transformation, and operational improvement.

He most recently served as the managing partner of Internal Audit Executive Services (IAES), assisting Chief Audit Executives, CFOs, and Audit Committees with optimizing risk coverage and enhancing the effectiveness of their internal audit functions. He is a frequent presenter at industry conferences and a recognized thought leader in his field. He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and the National Association of Corporate Directors.
