ATHENS, AL – December 18 – Continuing a cherished annual tradition, Mauldin & Jenkins professionals came together this holiday season to support a local family in need. This year, the office purchased gifts for a family with three children to ensure the family has a joyful holiday celebration.
Armed with wish lists and a determination to make the holidays brighter, staff members enjoyed the opportunity to shop for gifts. From selecting toys and clothing to choosing other essentials, the team worked to ensure each child’s wishes were met.
“For several years, we have sponsored a family within the Athens City School system who needed help during the holidays,” shared Senior Manager Genny Besh. “We are provided with information about the family and their specific needs; our younger staff have taken the lead on purchasing the gifts, and the entire team contributes to funding the project and wrapping the presents. It’s a project we love to do, and the families are always extremely grateful.”
Beyond shopping for and wrapping gifts, this project has become a way for the office to connect with the local community in a meaningful way. By supporting families who might otherwise struggle during the season, the Firm hopes to inspire others in the community to spread kindness and generosity.
