ATLANTA- In the spirit of the season, Mauldin & Jenkins, a Top 100 accounting firm and proud member of the Greater Atlanta community, engaged in two community service projects this December to support efforts from United Way and Atlanta Toys for Tots.
The first community initiative involved Mauldin & Jenkins employees decorating and packing over 100 snack bags, each accompanied by books, in collaboration with United Way of Greater Atlanta. These snack bags will be distributed this season to families currently facing housing challenges in the area, including those living in cars and local hotels.
In another effort to brighten the holidays for children in need, the office hosted a toy drive in partnership with the Atlanta Marine Toys for Tots program. Employees donated a variety of unwrapped toys for children of all ages, which were delivered to the organization this week.
“We are proud to support organizations that do so much good for the Atlanta community,” shared Coleman Loftin, an Associate in the Firm’s Atlanta office. “These initiatives received overwhelming support from employees who were excited to participate in projects that make such a tangible difference in the lives of those facing challenges in our area. We look forward to working with both United Way and Toys for Tots again in the future.”
