BRADENTON- This Fall, professionals from Mauldin & Jenkins, a leading assurance, tax and advisory firm, came together at the All Faiths Food Bank to support the Alliance Gives Back Program, an initiative provided by the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance (LWRBA) that is designed to connect local nonprofit organizations with volunteers.
As part of the initiative, Mauldin & Jenkins’ employees sorted food and goods donated to the organization. Their efforts directly supported the All Faith Food Bank’s mission to provide families with nutritious food, eliminate hunger, and strengthen the community.
“Alliance Gives Back is an annual volunteering event that our Bradenton office is proud to support,” shared Associate River Yang. “Investing in our local community by sorting donated food and helping families in need is a powerful way to enhance the lives of those around us and contribute to the fight against hunger.”
Founded in 1989, the All Faiths Food Bank is the only food bank and largest hunger relief organization in Sarasota and DeSoto counties. As a four-star rated nonprofit and member of the Feeding America network, the All Faiths Food Bank focuses on addressing immediate hunger needs while promoting long-term food security and self-sufficiency.
