BRADENTON, December 18 – This holiday season, Mauldin & Jenkins professionals participated in a series of community service initiatives designed to give back to those in need and spread holiday cheer. With a focus on making a positive impact, these efforts aim to uplift and help provide for those in need in the local community.
In partnership with Feeding Empty Little Tummies (FELT), employees organized a toy drive to collect card games and candy canes for inclusion in Christmas backpacks, which will be distributed to children in Manatee County Public Schools for the holiday break.
M&J volunteers also donated their time to the Boys and Girls Club of Manatee County’s (BGCMC) 70th annual Christmas tree lot, assisting with restocking trees, helping customers select their perfect tree or wreath, and loading the trees into cars. Their efforts helped ensure a fun and festive experience for those picking out their holiday centerpieces.
“Whether it’s collecting card games for Feeding Empty Little Tummies’ holiday backpacks, or helping families pick out their Christmas tree with the Boys and Girls Club, it’s a privilege to spread joy and support our community and families in need,” shared Director Ali Carter. “These moments of giving not only bring happiness to others but also remind us of the power of compassion and community.”

Feeding Empty Little Tummies (FELT) is an organization dedicated to providing backpacks full of nutritious food to over 800 homeless and food-insecure children in Manatee County, ensuring they have enough to eat over the weekends.
