Atlanta, GA, July 3, 2019– Mauldin & Jenkins is pleased to announce Brian Carter, Partner, has been selected from the Calusa Region to the 2019-2020 Leadership Florida Cornerstone Class 38.
“I am honored to have been chosen as a member of Leadership Florida Cornerstone Class 38 and look forward to the program and forming relationships with my classmates,” Brian said. “The information we will learn and the relationships we will form will help make all of us become better professionals and leaders in our communities.”

Brian received his BBA in Accounting from Mercer University in 1996 and is licensed as a CPA in Georgia and Florida. Since joining Mauldin & Jenkins, Brian has specialized in providing a variety of accounting, auditing and tax services to not-for-profit organizations, affordable housing developers, restaurants, construction contractors and manufacturing and distribution entities. Brian also consults with not-for-profit board of directors on governance and policy issues and is a frequent speaker to various trade and civic organizations on topics affecting the not-for-profit industry.
Currently, Brian is a board member for PACE Center for Girls – Manatee, Bishop Museum of Science and Nature, and the Manatee Chamber of Commerce. Brian currently resides in Bradenton, Florida.
